I have double-checked everything, and liquidsoap-1.1.1 seems to have a bug, perhaps triggered under specific circumstances. I upgraded from 1.0.0 to 1.1.0 and had no problems. Only 1.1.1 has this "empty queue" problem. Let me know how I can help track down what's going on. Have you also enabled ocaml-vorbis or whatever ocaml bindings for the codecs used in your ogg files?
