Hi Nick,
The double backlash is a glitch from logging, nothing to worry about.
This message can happen on windows when the directory/file given does not
exist or is not recognized. Indeed, liquidsoap will first try to resolve as
a file URI and then as a protocol URI of the form proto:/.., thus the
second message saying "unkown protocol C"
Long story short: you shouldn't have to escape and most likely the path
your used was invalid.
Perhaps other windows user may have something to say to help you?
