Hello, This reminds me of asking the following. Doesn't fdk-aac also have the ability to decode aac files? Since fdk-aac is the prefered way of encoding nowadays, may be it could also be used for this Also, there seems to be an open source alac decoder which could be added as an external one to Liquidsoap: http://alac.macosforge.org/post/welcome-to-the-apple-lossless-audio-codec-project/
