I am in the process of writing an audio 'jukebox' using Node and LiquidSoap
on a Raspberry Pi

If you are interested, I have a project on github
https://github.com/vrtisworks/AudioBox

Installation is not 'simple', but all the components are simple package
installs.

So far, I have it so it will play songs from a playlist, load/save/playlists

Still a fair of amount of work to go.. but getting there..

Just as an FYI.. on a Raspberry Pi B+, it runs at about 45-50% cpu (so make
sure you have good air circulation around your Pi), but runs without skips,
even with the music files on a samba server.

With a Pi 2, it only runs at 20-25%.. which is much nicer.
