Hello. I'm working on a Liquidsoap setup for an FM station. So, I have two
outputs:
radio = mksafe(radio)
output.ao(radio)
output.icecast( [icecast params], radio)
However, the network here is very weak, so the internet stream gets choppy
from time to time. There's no problem with that. There's no way we could
upgrade our network connection and most of the time it works fine. The
problem is: whenever the network gets slow, and the icecast streams gets
choppy, the soundcard output gets the same choppiness too.
Again, It's OK if the icecast stream gets choppy from time to time, but the
soundcard output cannot fail.
Why is this happening? Is it something i don't understand about streams?
How can I prevent it?
