Hi all,
I think that there's a bit of confusion here so let me repeat what's going
on:
Liquidsoap _always_ decodes all files to raw float frames, processes them
through the operators defined in your script and then outputs them. During
the output process, if there is an encoder specified (%ogg, %mp3, etc..),
it will encode the raw float data into that format.
There is, unfortunately, no way to do otherwise for now and probably never
will unless someone take a major overhaul of the code-base.
