It is a little bit surprising, that the port is changing on your side. 
Or are you talking about the sending port?
At least the port of the Shoutcast server (usually 8000 if not changed) 
is used from liquidsoap

Due to the protocol I also have in mind, that the Port+1 is also used. 
So you should have the Ports 8000 + 8001 to be opened.

Or you should check your port configuration in your output.shoutcast() 
config:

port (int – defaults to 8000)
