Ok, here is my output from the script command. It can't even get past the first
steps of the ./configure. I'm using the instructions for the "faster" way to
build at the page I linked to. I'm very studk here, by the way I remember
someone else having issues building, but I can't remember if it was on ubuntu
or debian.
