No, the Liquidsoap and OCaml language are a completely different thing
(Liquidsoap happens to be implemented in OCaml but that's all).
- `ref` creates a reference (a value that you can modify)
- `!` means get the value of the reference
- `:=` means set the value of the reference
- `#{x}` in a string is replaced by the value of `x`
