hey all!
i've noticed some different behaviour with this v2b2 (under windows) as
opposed as it was before:
when a track ends there is nothing happening for a brief time (0 seconds
accrding to the log but still some ms as i suspect):
track end is indicated by a log line like this:
ended: Ffmpeg_decoder.End_of_file.
and then, even if that source is a playlist, the new track does not follow
instantly, there is some vacuum instead, and if the source is not mksafe(),
the thing goes offline before next track tries to bring it online again in a
few seconds.
in case of (mksafe) it goes like 2021/07/07 19:27:00 [mksafe:3] Switch to
safe_blank with forgetful transition.
and then immediately the new track follows.
earlier mksafe() was not needed nor there was any pauses.
question: is the past or the current behaviour correct? should i buffer or
pre-load something or is it a normal and welcome to use mksafe and continue
like this?
