Thank you for reading this, After upgrading this week to 2.4.0+dev (compiled by dune) from 2.2.4, I was amazed to find most cue annotations from my extant m3u8 playlists were still working, but I'm not sure crossfading sounds like it used to.
I do crossfading like this: myplaylist = crossfade(duration=30.0, fade_out=0., fade_in=0., myplaylist) The incoming track has liq_cross_duration and liq_fade_out_delay set equal as I was instructed in the time of version 2.2.4 (several seconds on many tracks) so the natural fade of one track can be heard disappearing under the start of the next (with no further level manipulation. liq_cue_in is often set to a positive number, perhaps between 0.2 and 5.0 or so, depending upon whether the track has been detected as having silence at the start. Am I still doing this properly? Sometimes it is as if liq_cue_in isn't working. I realise the great effort that talented and hard-working people such as Moonbase59 have made: should I now switch to that system or Liquidsoap's internal system? Been busy lately: always thankful to see what is being written on the mailing list and in the repository. with best wishes, JW
