Mihai> Is this something you are looking for? Not really, see the upstream articles in this thread. xconsole works just fine and it is handled correctly by sawfish, except in this one case, when both of the following applies:
1/ it is not mapped while sawfish is running, but already exists when sawfish starts. 2/ for reasons unknown, X sets the WM_STATE hint of the xconsole window to Iconified.
