waffle from root-menu

Hi,

I would like to launch the waffle from the root-menu. I have tried including it 
like this

("waffle" waffle)

but then strange things start happening when I launch it. Sawfish seems to keep 
running but windows loose their titles and the focus stop working. I need to 
restart x.

Is there something evidently wrong about launching the waffle from the 
root-menu?

ps: launching it using a key binding works just fine.
