If the focus window is Emacs, It can pick the word under cursor. But other windows, it has to rely X selection. There are applications can pick word in anywhere of screen. How do they achieve that?

Here, I mean i didn't use all of sdcv's function. For example, if I spelt a wrong word, sdcv can guess and list some suggestion, but i found it's hard to implement. > >> 2.
