A message from the World Pheasant Association about the first issue of their on-line Journal..... Dear Colleagues
We are delighted to announce the publication of Volume One of the International Journal of Galliformes Conservation. The Journal is free to all and open access at http://www.pheasant.org.uk/page/IJGC. All papers are available to download as PDFs. The aims and objectives of the Journal are also on this site, as are the Instructions to Authors. We would like to encourage you to have a look at the journal and pass these details to any colleagues that might be interested. Please also consider submitting manuscripts for publication. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who helped, whether as authors or peer reviewers and reviewing the journal templates and protocols. We also thank you for bearing with us as we developed the Journal, which took rather longer than we anticipated. Any comments would be very welcome, so that we can continue to learn and improve.
