Hi Glad you found a good vet! Sight hounds can have special issues, so one that is experienced is a "good thing" How does your vet feel about a soak with epsom salts--that is the miracle worker around here--cleans and relaxes the foot...helps get any dirt out from around the toes.
I give yogurt *after* they get antibiotics and randomly when there is a sale...I have used plain & flavored--I pick on the ones with active cultures.
