Yes, different dogs, different breeds handle the toxins differently.

One of my three has eaten a full bag of semi-sweet baking chocalate 
with little effect and nearly a full bottle of aspirin.

Another of the three snarfed a small piece of chocalate (sammie is 
quick) and showed many of the symptoms. I'm thankfull that she is 
still around.

As a petcare professional, I look out for this information.
