Thanks for the food references! So, I am not worried if my dogs get a handful of
raisins or some chocolate chips (60 lbs x 1/2 oz/lb of bakers chocolate = 30 oz bakers
unsweetened chocolate = ~ 4-6 lbs of milk chocolate or chocolate chips (dogs would
vomit before ingesting this amt).... not likely any time soon) now and then, or
seedless grapes, tomatoes, pitted cherries, apple slices, lettuce, cucumbers, squash.
To me, sounds like basic alarmist uproar... My dogs don't eat begonias, yews,
mother-in-law plants, foxglove, etc...., they aren't interested in cherry leaves
(source of prussic acid - cyanide) or tomato leaves (source of organic alkaloids) or
potato leaves (same), they don't chew tobacco..... This thread goes somewhere into a
tropical storm in a small tea-leaf brewing container...
NOW - Non period greyhound event - Greyhounds Reach The Beach - Dewey Beach, Delaware,
October 8-10, 2004. Approx 1500 humans, approx 3000 hounds including a few Salukis,
Borzois, IG's, an occasional whippet, a few other sighthounds, but mostly greyhounds.
All manner of hound stuff for sale by over a hundred hound vendors (some of which are
SCAdians). There will be a Greyhounds In Art Show (yours truly is an invited artist),
along with a fancy dress-up ball for your hounds, and a Vegas-night fund-raiser for
