Greetings,
A coursing was held October 23, in the Barony of Wyvernwoode, Trimaris.
Lord Randwulf was the Huntsman-in-Charge for the event and the Luremaster for the
coursing.
The course was roughly 120 paces, or about 200 meters. It was shaped in near triangle
formation and was set in a clock-wise rotation.
Five hounds attended the event, Lady Catrin's Courtney, Lucinda, and Fritz, Joe's
Jager, and Randwulf's Desert Drum. Jager and Desert Drum were the only two who
coursed.
Desert Drum was first and was released by Her Excellency, Lucia, the Baroness of
Wyvernwoode. Jager was released second, as it was his first time coursing in the SCA.
Each hound was able to run twice before the course had to be cleared for the next
event.
The only injury was to Desert Drum. He received a small cut on the top of each of his
front paws. Lady Catrin treated the cuts. Desert has had this type of injury before
and is doing fine. It will not affect his status for the next event.
