Your Ladyship Samira, it is another moving chapter you relate from the Celestial
realm. It is a joy and a comfort to all those who dwell within the halls of
Courtecadeno that our two cherished beloveds performed their duties so well and
honorably. For it is written within the scriptures that we follow here that those who
know the Law shall be greeted by a myriad of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Lucy and her
Aidan are true Bodhisattvas of the Earth.

We are sending loving prayers for the fortune and happiness of two such honorable
souls that are Kievey and Riley, Greyt Hounds of An Tir. We will send them much
daimoku.

We are in a prayerful mood, my wee band here, for today is the one year anniversary of
my Lucy's departure from this material world. And, I never thought I would face this
day without my dear Aidan. But, it is a very good thing that the road of life we
travel is so curved; for if we could indeed see all our days laid out before us, I
think none of us would go on!

The invocation of the daimoku (the chanting of Nam Myoho Renge Kyo) is a very good and
comforting sign indeed for my Lucy. It means she does indeed have greyt fortune, as
does our good Aidan, her companion. I will sleep much better tonight than I might have
done.

Tonight is a full moon, and a total lunar eclipse. I thank all the gods and goddesses
for pulling out all the stops for Lucy's memorial!

For, truly, it is a cosmic reminder to all of us that earthly death is merely the
brief eclipse from our sight of the living soul of our beloveds which do continue on,
forever. The beautiful silver light of the moon will be briefly gone, but not the
beautiful moon. She will show herself again, soon enough, be patient and wait. And in
one moment, it will transform from the blackest of nights, to one of heavenly
illumination!

Greyt Regard to All Here,
Mevanwy and the MIB

Follow, poet, follow right
To the bottom of the night,
With your unconstraining voice
Still persuade us to rejoice.

With the farming of a verse
Make a vineyard of the curse,
Sing of human unsuccess
In a rapture of distress.

In the deserts of the heart
Let the healing fountains start,
In the prison of his days
Teach the free man how to praise.
