As for vet wrap, has anyone had problems with the vet wrap causing sores on
the backside of the leg where the tendons contract while the hound is running
or walking? I had to cover bandages with the stuff recently and the poor
dear got a blister from the vet wrap!

Sometimes an animal has an averse reaction to the vet wrap, this can be
usually fixed by layering a cotton gauze pad over the area first, then wrapping
the vet wrap. Remember to not wrap the vet wrap too tight, as that stuff can
and will contract around the area wrapped. Also, make sure that no dirt or
grass etc gets between the skin and the vet wrap, obviously this can cause a
problem. And lastly, if the vet wrap get soggy wet, remove it ... again this
can cause rubbing and a build up of bad things!

Hope this helps!
