To concur with what Lady Rowan and Lord Corin said: It is indeed a double-edged sword to take these blessed creatures into our hearts. But, the alternative is to have lived without them. I still have vivid dreams that Lucy and Aidan are alive and well, and with me traveling all over town pet sitting or just taking our own wonderful "adventure" walks in the many neighborhoods we visited, just as they did in this life. Always, in my dreams, their "deaths" were just a misunderstanding. I'm always so greytfully relieved that they're actually just fine, and that they never left me after all. I think that's precisely what they're trying to tell me: That they'll never truly leave me, and that they're just fine. Ears is in my daily prayers for her happiness and enlightenment.
