And he was a *dog*-- and you haven't seen some o the bigguns out racing in the whippet world... My track grey bitch was deemed too small to run successfully-- she was about 24" at the withers and about 45 lbs--and the weights I've seen on him in racing form was around 50 lbs or less.... Many of the track dogs hot off the track run 65 to 85 lbs...and are big animals!
