Most Happy Welcome, Good Doria! It is wonderful to hear that your Dachshund is well keen for the bag! Believe it or not, there are even greyhounds in this world who couldn't care less for a plastic bag, and thus can't course in this manner. So, your boy is well on his way! Coursing is big in the Middle, though I am not from there; so, I know you will be hearing from more gentles of your own kingdom to fill you in on the details. I believe there are also other gentles upon this list who course Dachshunds, so you have found good company! Greyt Regard, Mevanwy from Calontir, and the Men in Black: Ambrose (greyhound) and Douglas (talbot)

We can't wait to start coursing in the SCA. I have been working with him getting him to chase a white plastic grocery bag. He's a natural! I just wondered if anyone had any tips for us since coursing isn't huge in my area. I'm also looking for good tips on dogs and camping in the sca. It's great to meet you all!
