Greetings guys...
Papasan, thanks for the info. I will pray in my own
way. Thank goodness he survived..I had flashbacks of a
certain Duke when I started reading.
Also, for those of you who are interested, Emma had
her ultrasound yesterday and guess what?! Its NOT
CANCER!! she has what they are calling "hepatitis."
Now, hep in the doggie world is a blanket term for
liver disease..it can mean a number of things. It can
mean she has a bad teeth infection (poster child for
dentistry? I think so!) or she got into something
toxic which is not impossible either. So, shes on
about a million drugs, including some vitimins,
antioxidants, and amino acids. (All of which cost a
grand total of 150$) It could have been worse...they
opted not to do the fine needle aspirate with the
ultrasound. Thank Goddess!
Anyway, she has a dental in a few weeks if the
bloodwork double checks out okay. Her liver enzymes
were through the roof (Her Alk Phos was supposed to be
btw 20-200 and it was 1500, and her ALT was supposed
to be btw 10-100 and it was 3500) so we are just going
to give the meds and hope for the best.
Shes taking this rather well..happy as always and kept
kissing the ultrasound guy ;) Yup, thats my Emma :)
Anyway, Gotta go study, I have a biology test on
Friday!
Love ya, Duchess Elina, Houndmistress AEthelmearc,
(for now :)
PS..on that note...Lady Katla Ulfhednar (who is also
on this list) has accepted the position of Kingdom
Houndmistress when I step down on the 19th. ROOOO!!
Its been a wonderful 5 years as houndmistress and I
couldn't imagine a better replacement for the hounds
of Aethelmearc. Congrats Katla!
