Fionn,
You need to get in touch with Lady Pavla in AEthelmearc and see what you two
can come up with on things for your new little Lilly can do. She has a ground
hound demo course and loads of info to share you may be very interested in.
She just adopted an Italian Greyhound from me who is fitting in very well with
the terriers in his new home..:)).
If you need, please contact me and I'll get you in touch with her.

Subject: [SCA_Coursing] New addition to my family

Well my greyhound got a new 'friend', a Jack Russell terrier we just
rescued from the shelter on Monday. It's been quite interesting to see
just what a breed snob Nyla (the greyhound) can be! No loving licks on
the nose are allowed (by the eager to please terrier), no sharing of
beds, no sharing of food (well duh), and Nyla definately has the
attitude that 'what's yours is mine, what's mine is mine too!'. But so
far she is tolerating the newbie and did very well tolerating her in
the back seat with her on a ride to petsmart.

Also, I didn't know, but Jack Russells are coursers too! This should be
interesting, if not period. It might just be the one animal that Nyla
will chase in a course! At Estrella Nyla only wanted to chase other
dogs, not the lure. So maybe they will end up being a great coursing
team if little Lilly (the terrier) can keep just a nose ahead of Nyla
on the course. We'll see!
