Yeah, transferring AMIs is a pain. Wish Amazon would make this expansion more "integrated" into existing structure. Everyone was expecting just new locations, not another API extension.
We're planning to support EU on a farm level soon (i.e. The whole farm will be tied to EU) and will consider supporting it on role-level.
