I am looking at the best way to modify an in production scalr app
instance - essentially upgrading existing applications, adding new
resources, etc.

My proposed method is as follows:

1) Launch a new instance of the app role within the farm.
2) Remove that instance from the ngnix app-servers.include.
3) Make whatever changes are needed, test, etc.
4) Reenable that instance in app-servers.include.
5) Synchronize to all from that instance.

Any wholes in this approach? Any potential for problems in hand
editing the app-servers.include file by hand?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated,

David
