Hi Pierre, you will have to issue a "synchronize to all" on the instance to make it permanent.
>From the menu go to Farms -> View All -> Instances (on your specific farm) and from the instance line select the option menu. the first option in the menu is "Synchronize to all". this will bundle (like backup) your existing state of the instance and from now on any instance from that role (you give it your own name when you synchronize) will start at the same state you left it.
