I know that it is not very easy to migrate farms in US to EU. So I had thought of this alternate strategy for data migration from EBS. I created EC2 instances in EU and then wanted to attach EBD to it so that I can easily copy the data and then copy it again to an EBS instance in EU.
What I found was that you can not attach EBS from US to EU EC2 instances. Is there a better way to achieve this or is it possible to allow the attachment of EBSto any instances irrespective of location?
