On your www role (load balancer), nginx perfoms the httpd functionality. If you run nslookup (Unix/linux) it will tell you where your domain is pointed. It should be pointed to your www role IP address.
nslookup www.mydomain.tld If you don't have nslookup, you can ssh into one of your Scalr servers and run it from there.
