I hope it helps people quickly get a Scalr web frontend up and running.
Although the guide is intended for Fedora Core 8, many of the configurations & installation scripts can be used in other distributions too. Unfortunately my copy of Ubuntu that I used did not have a repository with a rrdtool or rrdtool-php package, which meant that it had to be compiled from scratch.
