Hey Jim, Thanks for the reply. What I was actually getting at was trying to specify my app role to only accept connections via port 80 from my www role. I know that Amazon's API allows you to make this happen by specifying my app role's security group to accept connections from my www role's security group.
It doesn't appear that scalr allows for this.
