I'm trying to take an existing server on ec2 and make it part of a farm
that is already created and has servers in it, but it doesn't seem that
there is a mechanism for it. I've inserted the necessary data into the
database and installed the scalarizr agent on the server, however, the
scalarizr agent won't startup even though it appears that Scalr can manage
it and it says the scalarizr agent is out of date. Has anyone out there
attempted this before and how come I can't update the scalarizr agent if
Scalr can do things like reboot and run chef scripts on the server itself?
Also, one of the weirdest behaviors is that the config.ini in private.d
keeps getting erased, anyone know why that might be? szradm also won't
re-initialize the server either. Any suggestions are appreciated.
