Thanks Nick.. I configured authentication properly.. but for hosted chef the orgname-validator needs to be member of admin group ( by default it is not). Made it a member of admin group from opscode console. Now things look really good, I can pull my roles and recipes from hosted chef.. Now deploying some roles to AWS through Scalr..
