I just tried to make my first DNS record in the Open Source version of Scalr and when I did, it ended up building a domain name record like this:
e839b88b-3926-4ae0-aea0-3fa5b04ff3ae.provide.domain.here.in and was taken to a website that offered to upgrade my Adobe Flash Player. *REPEAT IT* 1. Main Menu | DNS Records | Add New 2. Leave "Auto" selected 3. Save 4. Click on the resulting domain name *WHY IT HAPPENS* I would guess the owner of "here.in" has a wildcard DNS record that points to an ad server. The ad server appears to server up random stuff and probably is making someone a little money. Clever business model, really. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "scalr-discuss" group.
