Abbreviate (or 42 42.0) by (= 42)? There is a special equality for numbers, so any complete pattern matcher should be able to make use of it (if we aim for completeness, that is). I.d. for other numeric operators... Are there any Scheme's for which (= 42.0 42) equals #f?
