We did not. Feel free to make a small WG1-ish proposal for them, though I doubt it will pass at this point. I'll note that in Java and C#, boolean arrays are represented with one (logical) bit per byte; on modern systems, the cost of setting bits is high enough (read-modify-write) that a factor of 8 in space is well worth paying. This would not be true of embedded systems. -- John Cowan <[email protected]> http://www.ccil.org/~cowan Today an interactive brochure website, tomorrow a global content management system that leverages collective synergy to drive "outside of the box" thinking and formulate key objectives into a win-win game plan with a quality-driven approach that focuses on empowering key players to drive-up their core competencies and increase expectations with an all-around initiative to drive up the bottom-line. --Alex Papadimoulis _______________________________________________ Scheme-reports mailing list [email protected] http://lists.scheme-reports.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/scheme-reports
