I hear the complaints from people that our rejection of R6RS has been a mistake, but that was the scope of the requirements laid down by the Steering Committee, and I'd like to encourage people to vote for whether R7RS-small meets its stated requirements rather than whether they like those requirements! I have a few niggling issues with how R7RS-small has turned out (I'd love it if standard procedures were free to return zero values...), but I think it's as good as it's going to get; we need implementations of it to produce experience and feedback for R8RS to make it any better. I look forward to seeing if I can help with R7RS-large!
