Hello, all,

I wanted to bring your attention to Rosalind Williams's very interesting
presentation at last week's Inauguration Symposium on "The Future of
Education." Roz spoke on "MIT Culture: The Future as Past." You can watch Roz's
presentation here:

http://amps-web.amps.ms.mit.edu/Institute/2012-2013/symposia/2012sep21-future_of_education/

Her remarks begin around 1:18 into the video. Many thanks to Roz for
representing STS and SHASS so well at this important event.

And in case you missed it, Ted Postol was featured in a recent article in the
New York Times on US missile defense strategy:

Please share with me other items I might have missed -- it's always great to
see STS scholars and scholarship making an impact in the world --

best,
Dave
