A reminder that this THURSDAY April 17 will be our fifth “Conversations on Autonomy” discussion, 3-5 pm in 33-116. Our guest is Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Senior Scientist Dr. Dana Yoerger who will be speaking about his many years developing remote- and autonomous systems for deep ocean exploration.
Note that this week and for the remainder of the term we will be meting in 33-116. The aim of “Conversations on Autonomy" is to meet every couple of weeks and invite some researchers to have short presentations and open discussions on issues surrounding autonomy. We aim to build a community of people interested around some of these issues, including regulatory, policy, and R&D dimensions. The seminars are open.
