They are different in some way and very similar in another, but as we 
now have the function to also search for a given line within a tree mask 
I tend to agree. I moved to the masks entirely, I admit.

Other opinions here? It would really be good to get some feedback from 
the users.

Sure. As long as this doesn't result in crippling the functionality, I 
perfectly agree. But though I use probably a lot of functions of Scid, 
I'm nevertheless completely ignorant of others so I feel it's hard to 
judge what to drop and what to keep. (For a clear extreme: what if I 
decided to drop all translations to simplify the program and reduce it's 
size considerably? ;)
