I am still a rookie in SCID, but I do not understand why, very often, SCID
can not open some PGN files (I get an error message).
When I go to ChessAssistant, ChessbaseLight, ChessPad,…I have no problem,
and I can always open them and access to the games.
With TWIC files in PGN format, I never get an error with SCID, it is always
100% ok.
I am running SCID in my laptop (Vista) and my desk PC (Win XP), and both
have the same problem.
If somebody has a tip for me, thank you in advance !
Or maybe giving me some idea to use a utility software to repair the files ?
