I too would love a Xianqi database. Sadly I am no programmer. But I thought Xiangqi players did not care much about openings. Something like http://www.01xq.com is good enough for me.
It only took one programmer to create Scid. Too bad Shane did not think of creating a tool extendable to an infinite board.
