If you compile yourself from CVS please check the code there. I think 
recent changes provided by Gerd allow what you're looking for.

This is another issue. Sorting here probably makes sense once you have a 
small database, but it would be quite time consuming for some 10^6 games.

Steve, does ScidvsPC sort all games in filter? I can't check as 
unfortunately you seem to renumber the games in the games list, which I 
think is not the meaning of the column "number" ;)

In the first versions I remember there were some issues with speed as 
you filled the whole base into the games list. These seem solved now. 
Unfortunately, all context menus are gone in your games list which are 
very handy and I use them a lot. Could they come back? Could we probably 
port your games list to Scid then?
