Reproducible: Twice This is what I do:
-open scid ->edit menu-> set up new board - click empty button, add a few pawns and both kings for an endgame study, Analyze with houdini up to this point all is good. I analyzed until I got mate in 20 or so and the engine stopped "thinking". When I try to set up the next study: ->edit menu ->set up new board scid's window simply disappears and I notice my cpu running at 100%. with the top command on linux I see that houdini is running. Can someone else reproduce this bug? I hope this is fixed.
