Reproducible: Twice

This is what I do:

-open scid
->edit menu-> set up new board
- click empty button, add a few pawns and both kings for an endgame
study,
Analyze with houdini


up to this point all is good.

I analyzed until I got mate in 20 or so and the engine stopped
"thinking".

When I try to set up the next study:
->edit menu ->set up new board

scid's window simply disappears and I notice my cpu running at 100%.

with the top command on linux I see that houdini is running.

Can someone else reproduce this bug?

I hope this is fixed.
