You may only find them if the mode is recognisable by some header tag. Say if your tournament is named "blitz" or the like. Scid only knows those "metadata" as the PGN header knows off. You can add additional header fields, however, or, even more effectively, add flags to mark games played in Blitz, Rapid or other modes. (Mode "Blitz") comes to mind for a header tag, or the use of custom flags. Otherwise, Scid is unable to know on what time scale a game was played. Just imagine that you don't get this information if you just look up the game notation. BTW: in case you want to check out games that were not played under any sort of time pressure, you might use a database of correspondence chess games. E.g. just fetch the ICCF games archive which is available free of charge at the ICCF Webpage.
