One minor point, if I may. TWIC is a sponsored website. Their "business
model" relies on some advertisement they place on their website. Mark
made it pretty clear to me when I asked if we should build some
autodownload right into Scid that this could cause him quite some
headaches if people do not visit the site itself anymore as his sponsor
actually watches for the page accesses.
I think it's in the interest of all those interested in Chess not to
erode TWICs business model. It would be a loss for the game, indeed.
That's why I'd like to point out to you to keep using the web page to
fetch the PGN files there.
