And I suppose this depends on the analysis engine, whether its from
White's point of view? "i.e more negative is better for Black"?

Or does scid adjust them all to the same format?

Well, we read from left to right, and its currently evaluating ...Nfxd5,
so seems sensible considered like that. Maybe "+0.80" or "+1.49" could
be coloured the same as "11...Nfxd5" or "11...cxd4?!" respectively? (not
really serious, but could be a nice enhancement.)

Made as a configurable option? :)
