The new sort allow to specify multiple criteria. For example the default is to sort by rating (calculated using average elo, date, comments, annotations) and if the rating is equal, by date. The column headers display a number indicating the applied order. Double-click on a column header set a new order. For example double-click on "date" header will sort the result by game date. Single-click on a column header add a new criteria to the current sorting. For example single-click on "event" header will sort the games played the same day by tournament.
Layout. Columns can be hidden, moved and resized. The sorting criteria and the column layout are automatically saved and reloaded on startup. However can be useful to have different column layouts saved and easily restored. This can be done with the 3th button of the new gamelist. For example, create a new layout "tournament" than double-click on "EventDate" and single-click on "Event". This will group the results by tournament. Click back the old layout to quickly restore the old sort and column layout.
